Robin was born in 1961 a stone's throw away from the rapidly developing metropolis of Rotterdam in the little village Maassluis. After his studies in Cultural Sciences (entrepreneurship) and History at the Rotterdam High-school, Robin decided to exchange his books for life’s adventure. He was posted to Lebanon as an UNIFIL conscript. Shortly afterwards, he applied for a career in the foreign legion.

Robin served the foreign legion for five years and it shaped his thoughts and actions. Still, he was unable to satisfy his hunger for a fulfilling life. It was not what he was looking for.

Robin became a songwriter, adventurer and writer.

His band, EOS – now called Goldstein – broke through internationally in 2002, scoring several hits. Robin performed with bands like the Backstreet Boys and Snap [I got the power] in stadiums like the Kuip in Rotterdam for audiences of 50,000 people.

Robin Goldstein’s music can be heard around the world!
